Happy New Year!

It's a new year and once again Stampin' Up! is offering their fantastic Sale-a-Bration promotion! Now through February 28th, for each $60 purchase you make in my online store, you may select a free gift with your purchase. Whether you are looking to add a new stamp set to your collection, or an embossing folder, two-sided Designer Series Paper, embellishments or a self contained kit of card making products, there are quite a few options to select. For those with orders of $120 or more, their are additional stamps and stamps with dies to choose from.

This month I've been having a lot of fun playing with the new Storybook Moments Suite of products. The stylistic artwork resembles that of Beatrix Potter. The sweet little animals, gardening tools and harvested vegetables provide lots of opportunities for your own creative expression.

The new seasonal Stampin' Up Mini Catalog is out and I've been busy playing with new products, creating cards and different kinds of packaging for small gifts. In addition to the new Mini Catalog, Stampin' Up has also released several new Online Exclusives. These are new products that are available in the Online Store and are not featured in a printed paper catalog.

If you have never stamped before or would consider yourself "new" to stamping, you might consider starting out with a kit. My personal favorite is the Expressions of Kindness kit which can be made into birthday cards or notes for all occasions. The colors are soft and inviting with a look of watercoloring. Add additional stamped images to create your cards with a written guide, or create your own combinations with the stamps, coordinating ink and embellishments included in the kit. With an additional stamp and a die on hand, I created an anniversary card adding dimension to one of the flowers and the gold ephemera.

If you're interested in trying your hand at a stamping class to make some cards, you are welcome to join us at our next session on Wednesday, November 6 from 10-noon or on Friday evening, November 8 from 7-9 pm. We'll make two cards each, complete with envelopes. The cost for participation is $10. All class materials will be prepared for you. Please RSVP by November 5 to reserve your spot at which time I'll forward you directions to my home where the class will be held.

Wow! It's finally here...May 1st! I'm so happy to be able to share the new Stampin' Up catalog with you! There is most definitely something for everyone to love. Whether you're looking for a particular product style or a budget-friendly inclusive kit, you're sure to find crafting materials to meet your needs. Crafters of all kinds will find their card making, scrapbooking, and creative packaging needs met. High on my list of favorites is the Country Woods collection of products.

I'm back from Stampin' Up's amazing On Stage convention in Houston, Texas full of ideas, new products and a new carefully crafted catalog for a wide range of stampers and paper crafters! It's really beautiful!

This year I was honored to be recognized for a sales achievement along with other Stampin' Up demonstrators.

Along with their four color families, the new five In-Colors for 2024-2026 were revealed and are pictured below... Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash, and Pretty in Pink.

Creating color palettes, working with new stamp sets and kits, and meeting lots of demonstrators from across North America was a lot of fun. Now that I've returned, I'm looking forward to sharing my adventure with you through stamping get togethers and classes.

As we head into the season of Thanksgiving, I'm reminded of how blessed I am by the people in my life, and the many opportunities I have had thus far. Being a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator has certainly afforded me many opportunities to get to know new and experienced crafters alike. This month on Friday, November 17th, I'll be holding a class where you will be able to create your own "Blessing Box," or this year you'll see it's really a "tote" with a coordinating pen. You'll make the tote along with the six 3" x 3" folded note cards. All the materials you will need to stamp and embellish your cards and tote will be provided along with a pen to coordinate and envelopes for your cards.

This would make a great gift for someone you appreciate, or keep it yourself and use the cards to pass on little notes of gratitude to people in your life this season. 

The class will be held on Friday, November 17th. Please RSVP by Wednesday, November 15th.

Choose to come from 10am - 1:00pm or from 7:00 - 10:00pm.

The cost for the class is $25 and includes all materials along with written directions to take home and recreate on your own. Beverages provided.
